College of Fellows Nomination and Selection

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for selection as a Fellow, an individual must be a voting member of Íæż½ã½ã as defined in the Íæż½ã½ã Bylaws, Article III, Section 1(a), and be a member in good standing as defined in Article III, Section 2 for a minimum of five (5) cumulative years.

Fellows are expected to have a record of professional achievement and volunteer experience that demonstrates significant accomplishments and plan to continue to actively support the profession. Voting directors on the Íæż½ã½ã Board of Directors and members of the CMCI Board of Governors are not eligible for nomination or selection as a Fellow (FÍæż½ã½ã) until their terms on their respective boards have concluded.

Any Íæż½ã½ã member in good standing may nominate a candidate under the terms of Article III, Sections 1(a) and 2.

Nomination and Selection Process

The nomination process has two parts: Phase 1 -- interested candidates submit and nominators work with a current Fellow to review the process and to develop a complete and responsive nomination; and Phase 2 -- the nomination dossier is submitted and formally reviewed by the Fellows Nomination Committee. The first step is for candidates or nominators to indicate an interest in becoming a Fellow or nominating a member for Fellowship by filling out this form:
Once received, the application will be reviewed, and a mentor from among the current Fellows will be assigned to provide objective advice and assessment of the nominee’s eligibility and qualifications for election to the College.

The Fellows Selection Committee is responsible for reviewing nomination dossiers and recommending whether to advance each nomination for approval to the Íæż½ã½ã Board of Directors.
