Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for selection as a Fellow, an individual must be a voting member of Íæż½ã½ã as defined in the Íæż½ã½ã Bylaws, Article III, Section 1(a), and be a member in good standing as defined in Article III, Section 2 for a minimum of five (5) cumulative years.
Fellows are expected to have a record of professional achievement and volunteer experience that demonstrates impact on the association and the profession, as well as plans to continue to take an active role in supporting the profession
Any individual currently serving as a Voting Director on the Íæż½ã½ã Board of Directors, or the CMCI Board of Governors, or the Íæż½ã½ã Foundation Board of Directors is not eligible for nomination or selection as a Fellow (FÍæż½ã½ã) until their term on their respective board has concluded.
Any Íæż½ã½ã member in good standing may nominate a candidate under the terms of Article III, Sections 1(a) and 2.
Nomination and Selection Process
The nomination process has two parts:
Phase 1 – The Phase 1 Portal and Phase 1 process are open all year. Candidates may nominate themselves through the Phase 1 portal or they may be nominated by a nominator and will be screened for eligibility as noted above as well as receiving a cursory review of their professional achievement and volunteer experience provided through a narrative in the Phase 1 portal
Phase 2 – Candidates must have a nominator in order to submit a nomination dossier for the Phase 2 portion of the selection process. Once a Phase 1 candidate is screened to enter Phase 2, the Future Fellows Committee will assign an Advisor to support the Nominator and Candidate through the process. There are three narratives which must be completed along with submission of six letters of reference. Details for requirements on the narratives and reference letters will be provided in the Phase 2 Portal, which typically opens April 1 and closes on May 31.
The Fellows Selection Committee is responsible for reviewing nomination dossiers and recommending whether to advance each nomination for approval to the Íæż½ã½ã Board of Directors.
Phase 2 is now open and nominations are being accepted.
